Team HCA - benefiting the HCA Hope Fund

After four years of running the Country Music Marathon and 1/2 Marathon in Nashville, Team HCA is heading west. Team members from HealthOne are gearing up for the Rock ‘n Roll Denver Marathon, 1/2 Marathon and two-person relay on September 22, 2012. And you're invited.

Employees, family members and eligible staff can join and improve their health while raising contributions for the HCA Hope Fund. To register, go to the Rock 'n' Roll site and enter promo code (contact us for the code) for $10 off the race fee. Creating a profile at the Team HCA site puts you on our team, orders your shirt to wear during the race, and sets up your personal fundraising page. The goal is to have every Team HCA runner/walker raise at least $200 for the Hope Fund.

Come join us to run at mile high altitude. It's going to be a lot of fun.

Team HCA will participate in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and 1/2 Marathon on September 22, 2012. This site will help you raise contributions for the Hope Fund through race participant sponsorship and donations from friends, family and supporters.

If you have collected checks or cash for the Hope Fund, these are considered off-line donations and must be logged on your personal fundraising page. At the Team HCA main page, click on Enter My HQ. Click on Continue or Login. Once you are at your HQ page, find My To Do List. Click on Enter Off Line Donations. Fill out the fields to record your offline donations. There is also a Print Donation Form link that you can fill out, print and then send with the money to HCA. The mailing address is on the form. Do not send any cash. Any cash that you have collected should be deposited in your personal checking account followed by writing a check in that amount to The HCA Hope Fund. Any checks that supporters handed to you personally should have been written to The HCA Hope Fund. This is the only way the donor will get a tax deduction. If the check was written to you, do the same procedure; deposit it in your personal account and then write a check to The HCA Hope Fund.

When the funds (checks) are received here, we will confirm the receipt of the funds in the system and deliver the checks to the Hope Fund Office.

Congratulations to Wayne Hutton, AVP with Shared Services Group Operations, for being selected to win a new iPad for fundraising in support of the HCA Hope Fund. Wayne’s name was chosen in a random drawing that included 53 others who sent out e-mail blasts in March.
