Ibrahim and his team of community health workers visited a neighboring IDP camp in Mogadishu, Somalia welcoming newly arrived families. We met many children in need of medical care, particularly those experiencing malnutrition and related health challenges.

It was a meaningful time spent with the children and families, and we look forward to returning next week with needed medications and support!

Great health talk session from Truphena from our HIV Program!

It was encouraging to see so many PMTCT mothers in attendance for an interactive discussion on the importance of keeping clinic appointments.

We talked about some of the challenges that can lead to missed appointments, including seeking services at other facilities where care is available at no cost.

Together, we are taking another important step toward healthier mothers and their babies.

Pictures from the field in Somalia!

These photos highlight the work of Hussein and his dedicated team of community health promoters and skilled birth attendants in Beledweyne, Somalia.

Through mobile clinics, they provide essential healthcare to internally displaced people (IDPs) with maternal care and safe childbirth services. Their commitment helps ensure that families living in some of the most challenging conditions have access to life-saving support.

We are excited to announce our continued partnership with Korion Health as their digital stethoscope, SoundHeart, will make its way across Kwale County!

A special thank you to Dr. Franci Gwama, County Executive Committee Member for the Health Services Department at Kwale County Government, for taking the time to meet with us and for your shared commitment to making quality healthcare more accessible for communities.

This partnership closes a critical gap in remote care, ensuring life-saving diagnoses reach the most vulnerable without costly travel. 🩺🇰🇪

Behind every viral load is a person with a story. Read about how Truphena from our HIV Program conducted a home visit to support a patient whose mental health challenges had become a barrier to treatment.

Through compassionate home visits and ongoing support, we're helping patients overcome the barriers that stand between them and better health.
