Join us on Sunday, May 10th for our Spring concert with all 7 choirs of the Vanderbilt Youth Choirs as we travel From Night Into Day.

Music about nighttime, dreaming, waking up, the daytime and everything in between will be performed.

Parking is also FREE across the street from the Blair School in the West Garage.

Each year, TMEA selects Conference Performing Ensembles to showcase the highest standards of music education. These performances serve as a core convention tradition, designed to inspire educators and provide musical benchmarks across all levels, from elementary to university.

We are thrilled to announce that the West Valley Voices from West Valley Middle School (Knox County) have earned this prestigious honor!

Under the direction of Abby Hemenway Brown, these talented young vocalists represent the peak of middle school choral excellence. Known for their vibrant tone and sophisticated repertoire, the West Valley Voices have consistently demonstrated that middle school artistry knows no bounds. Their selection for the TMEA Professional Development Conference is a testament to the dedication of these students and the inspiring leadership of Mrs. Brown.

Congratulations on a fabulous 3 show run of Home Alone with Maestro and the ! We started with a “Popcorn Rehearsal” thanks to and the and ended with another red rose to commemorate the honor of singing with a symphony.

Some of our recent VYC TA’s are about to start teaching in Williamson County Schools!

We’re so proud of Mr. Ladd, Ms. Diano, Ms. Braunstein and Mr. Root!

These four! They're all starting new jobs in Williamson County this fall. From left to right, Austin Root '25, band teacher (and lead singer of the 'Shirt Tuckers') is starting at Legacy Middle School; Syd Braunstein '25 will be the choral director at Mill Creek Middle School; Dani Diano '25 will be the choral director at Sunset Middle School, and Owen Ladd '18 will be taking over the Ravenwood High School choral program. So excited to see what these four young educators are going to do in our community.

Decani, Choristers and Concert Choir had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Maestro .conductor before our Saturday performance of Mahler 8.

Singing Mahler 8 under the Maestro's baton was an amazing experience we won't forget!
