Society of St. Andrew - Tennessee

Society of St. Andrew - Tennessee The Society of St. In short, SoSA gathers good food that may otherwise go to waste, and donates it to agencies that feed our hungry neighbors.

Andrew brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste, and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors. SoSA's food rescue and distribution requires three critical components: 1) farmers & growers to share their produce, 2) volunteers to harvest it, and 3) receiving agencies to accept the produce and give or serve it to their clients in need.

Farmers markets aren’t grocery stores, and that’s the point.

And while you’ll definitely find fresh produce here, the market is so much more than what’s on the table.

It’s a place where local farmers, makers, and small businesses come together, and where the community can connect directly with the people behind the products.

It’s where you can ask questions, try something new, and get a better understanding of where your food comes from.

Whether you’re stopping by for your weekly groceries or just taking a walk through, there’s always something to discover.

Welcome to the Agricenter Farmers Market. 🌿

We fear that actions disrupting the systems and processes for managing food assistance programs at this time will critically affect millions of struggling American families, increasing the hunger crisis in our country.

Please use your best resources to learn more about the restructuring of the USDA's Food and Nutrition Services Programs. Form your own opinion about the potential results of this action, and use your voice to share your thoughts with the administrators of the USDA and with your congressional representatives and Senators. Your voice is your most powerful tool to effect change.

WASHINGTON (May 14, 2026) The Alliance to End Hunger is deeply concerned by the announced reorganization of the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The massive reorganization will dilute organizational and program experience and effectiveness and is likely....
