Care Today - Character Tomorrow Junior Auxiliary provides the member with the opportunity to serve and to be a vital part of the community.

Junior Auxiliary is a group of women who desire to make a lasting difference in their communities by meeting the needs of its citizens, especially the children. Junior Auxiliary represents a serious endeavor on the part of women to be active and constructive community participants and to assume leadership roles in meeting community needs. The objectives of the Association are to unite in one body all Junior Auxiliary Chapters and members to promote National and individual Chapter purposes; to encourage members to render charitable services which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children. Junior Auxiliary was founded on the principles of helping children and making a difference in their lives.

Meet Katie Regan, our 2026–2027 Finance Chair! 💙

Katie is in her fifth active year with Junior Auxiliary, and since it’s also her last active year, this one is especially bittersweet.

She joined JA because she wanted to be part of something that truly makes a difference in our community. One of her favorite recent memories was attending the JA Area Meeting, where she left with an even deeper appreciation for all the work, heart, and service happening behind the scenes.

What Katie loves most is seeing firsthand that even the smallest acts of service can make someone feel supported and cared for.

And if there’s an event to organize or a detail to plan, Katie is probably already three steps ahead. 💙

Meet Mary Morgan East, our 2026–2027 Finance Chair! 💙

Mary Morgan is in her second active year with Junior Auxiliary. She was first drawn to JA by the friendships, but quickly found an even deeper connection through serving alongside women who share her love for children and her heart for the community.

One of her most meaningful JA moments was learning about the women who founded Junior Auxiliary in Greenville and how they turned their concern for children into action. That history, and the faith woven into JA’s mission, gave her an even greater appreciation for the work we do.

What Mary Morgan loves most is knowing that our efforts directly impact local children and families right here in our community.

And one fun fact: she can drink caffeine as late as she wants and still sleep at night. ☕😂

Her passion for JA’s mission and the children we serve is something that truly shines through. 💙

Meet Madison McDaniel, our 2026–2027 Assistant Treasurer! 💙

Madison is in her first active year with Junior Auxiliary and joined because she wanted to serve our community alongside women who share that same passion. With both her mother and grandmother as lifetime members, service is something she has seen modeled for years.

Her favorite event so far has been Charity Ball, especially getting to help with the online auction and seeing all of the hard work come together.

What Madison loves most is giving back to the community that has given so much to her and knowing that even small acts of service can make a real difference.

And one fun fact we love: Madison worked at Walt Disney World! ✨

With a background in marketing, Madison has also been a huge asset to our chapter by helping move parts of Charity Ball online, allowing us to reach even more people. She has also played a big role in keeping our website updated, accessible, and easy for our community to use. 💙

Meet Lauren Lee, our 2026–2027 Treasurer! 💙

Lauren is in her second active year with Junior Auxiliary and always knew she wanted to be part of JA after her time in Crown Club. She joined to give back, become more involved in the community, and build new relationships along the way.

One of her favorite JA memories was planning Charity Ball last year with Adrian Burge, Kelsey Branch, and Leigh McDaniel.

What Lauren loves most is getting to pour into the same community that poured so much into her growing up and serving the people who have made Columbia feel like home.

And according to Lauren, if she loves something, there’s a good chance she’ll convince you that you need it too. Just ask Jennifer Watts. 😂

Her love for this community and the people in it makes her such a natural fit for the work JA does. 💙

Meet Brook Oglesbee, our 2026–2027 Assistant Secretary! 💙

Brook is in her first active year with Junior Auxiliary and joined because she wanted to help children in our community feel heard, loved, and supported.

Her favorite project is FLARE, and she especially loves knowing JA can help foster children have items of their own that remind them they are cared for. One of her favorite memories is completing Buddy Bags with her provisional class.

What Brook loves most is being able to work behind the scenes to help a child feel seen and loved, even if they never know exactly who made it happen.

Brook’s heart for foster children and quiet, behind-the-scenes service is exactly what makes her such a special part of JA. 💙

Meet Adrian Burge, our 2026–2027 Secretary! 💙

Adrian is in her third active year with Junior Auxiliary and joined because she felt called to serve our community while also building meaningful friendships with women who share that same heart for service.

One of her favorite JA memories was last year’s Charity Ball honoring Mrs. Pegi Johnson, a special evening that brought our chapter and community together for a meaningful cause.

What Adrian loves most is seeing the smiling faces of the children we serve and knowing that the work of JA can make a real difference in their lives.

For Adrian, service is about being part of something bigger than ourselves, and that spirit shows in the way she gives back. 💙

Meet Leah Zehentner, our 2026–2027 Vice President! 💙

Leah is in her fourth active year with Junior Auxiliary and says she may not remember exactly what first brought her to JA, but she’s certainly thankful she joined.

Her favorite project is GFGA Family Fun Day, and one of her favorite memories is tackling Charity Ball alongside ladies she now calls friends.

What Leah loves most is the impact JA makes in our schools and community, often in ways that go unseen, and getting to serve alongside such a wonderful group of women.

We’re excited to see all she continues to bring to our chapter this year!

Meet Meredith Russell, our 2026–2027 President! 💙

Meredith is in her third active year with Junior Auxiliary and joined as a way to reconnect with and serve the community she grew up in.

One of her favorite JA memories was serving as Provisional Trainer, where she loved getting to know new members and being part of their JA journey.

She says what she loves most is the people she’s met along the way and the meaningful connections made through serving others.

She is a wonderful example of what it means to serve with purpose!

Meet Jennifer Watts, our 2026–2027 Ex Officio!

Jennifer has been part of Junior Auxiliary for four active years and brings such a genuine love for serving the children of our community. One of her favorite projects is Chic Chat, where she gets to spend time with young ladies, talk through real-life issues, and help connect them with helpful resources.

Jennifer says one of the best parts of serving through JA is simply seeing the smiles on the kiddos’ faces, and when she’s not serving, you can probably find her enjoying the outdoors!

We are so thankful for Jennifer and the experience, heart, and leadership she brings to Junior Auxiliary of Columbia. 💙
