Today all of Tennessee and the world is mourning an icon who did so much for so many, both across our city and state and across the world. Take a moment to say a prayer for a woman who gave out more than 300 million books to children everywhere.

Our world is a little less bright today, but her legacy will carry on. Rest in peace Dolly Parton.

One of us is working on a DAR supplemental for the son of a State of Franklin founder. History is fascinating.
