BSAS is open to anyone; the only criteria for membership are an interest in astronomy and a desire to share! Originally as the Barnard Astronomical Society 1928, originally meeting near the Vanderbilt area (Blair, Faixfax, Chesterfield, Marlborough Avenues). Currently, BSAS meets monthly, usually on the third Wednesday at 7:00pm at Dyer Observatory. We also hold multiple private and public star pa

rties every year. Check the website for directions and times. All are welcome FREE. You can also join the group, membership includes private star parties, membership in the Astronomical League, and access to group owned equipment.
