Pack 127 will have a family camping night this Friday at Whispering Pines (formerly known as Camp Joy) at 10700 Camp Joy Road, Carlyle, IL, just off Slant Road. Show up Friday evening when you can, and we will be done mid-morning Saturday. There’s a lake, and everyone is free to fish the remainder of the day if they wish. This is an official scout function, so please keep that in mind. Troop 127 will also be camping with us as well as other units from our area. Attached is a map with the campgrounds circled. Thanks.

The 2026 Black Gold District Pinewood Derby Races are scheduled for Saturday April 25 at the Carlyle KC Hall. Cars for the youth division will comply to BSA guidelines and must pass inspection at registration. Be Creative!! KC HALL is at 1471 Fairfax St. in Carlyle with the entry door at the southwest corner of the building. Registration is from 9-10 with the race starting at 10:30AM
