The Cornelia Airpark Concert Series, hosted by Friends of Shelby, brings live music to Cornelia Fort Airpark.

Gather with friends, enjoy great drinks, and jam to live music - all while supporting the Park!
2026 Dates: May 23, June 20, July 25, August 22 The Cornelia Fort Pickin’ Party combines the tastes and talents of East Nashville to help preserve one of the city’s most unique landmarks, the Cornelia Fort AirPark. Hitting the stage first for the May Airpark Concert, we have Hwy '94! Heidi, Aly and Bigs are a siblings trio based out of Nashville, TN. With a family-band dynamic, Hwy '94 is known for their "Western Folk Blood Harmonies". Who's ready to rock out with them next Saturday at the airpark? 🙋‍♀️🙋

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Milly Raccoon🦝
"Trained by campfires and tavern jams all over the world, Milly Raccoon’s eccentric and poignant lyrics mix with musical stylings that seem to have travelled out of the past, emulating classic country, early jazz, and other antiquated Americana. There is a connecting thread of spirituality, healing and liberation weaving through her work." We're so excited to kick of the airpark concerts with Milly Raccoon next Saturday!

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Blue Cactus 🌵
Coming to the Airpark all the way from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Blue Cactus got their start among the active honky-tonk circuit, developing an electrified twang that now branches out effortlessly into folk, alt-country, and psychedelic-tinged rock. Having released three records to critical acclaim, they have grown a cult following in the South and beyond, their introspective lyricism and blistering guitar techniques making the band potent in the studio and on stage.
We can't wait to kick off the concert series with them on May 23!

What an amazing way to end the 10th Anniversary celebration on Saturday night with JesseLee Jones & Brazilbilly, Wily and Nathan Kalish and His Derechos!

Even the breaks between bands were packed with singing and dancing, and a little competitiveness. We get it. There was a gift card for Soar Adventure Tower on the line!
