On April 23 from noon to 2 p.m. ET, join BIAA, the Brain Injury Association of Ohio, The Forensic Nursing Network, and the Ohio Domestic Violence Network for our live webinar, "Domestic Violence and Brain Injury for Survivors and Caregivers." This webinar is for brain injury survivors and caregivers to understand domestic violence, trauma, and its impact. Participants will learn common warning signs of abuse, what healthy relationships look like, barriers to leaving abusive relationships, strategies for safety, addressing concerns about domestic violence with families and friends, and how to access support. The session will also provide information on trauma-informed care, domestic violence programs, brain injury support services, and forensic nursing, including how these services can help survivors.
