***No February INA Meeting***

In light of the continued power outages and ongoing storm cleanup so many neighbors are still dealing with, we are canceling our February INA meeting.

If you can, we encourage you to visit one of our local restaurants for dinner on Thursday instead. Invite a friend or neighbor to join you, and let's support our small businesses as they get back on their feet!

The special sense of community we know and love in Inglewood has been on full display over the last few days. Checking on neighbors, offering to share warmth, food, or a place to stay, helping with cleanup—it's what makes our neighborhood such a great place to live and work.

We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on March 5.

MNPS community, Metro Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 2. District and school-based staff will report to work on a half-day schedule. The full length of today’s message and update has been sent via email and telephone, and also can be found on https://www.mnps.org/students-families/weather

We know families depend on our schools not only for learning but also for a warm, welcoming environment, and access to nutritious meals. We will continue working closely with city partners as we plan for the re-opening of schools. We hope you stay safe and warm while the recovery from the winter storm continues.

Supporting Our Community
INA’s Neighborhood Grants program has invested over $88,000 in our community. Over the last decade, we’ve been able to help fund the Stratford High School Robotics Team, and Pollinator Garden the Litton Alumni Center Renovation Project, the Inglewood Library, various school-wide and classroom projects at area elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as other local non-profits and organizations. The funds for the Neighborhood Grant Program are raised at the annual INA Golf Tournament, established in 2008.

Eligible programs include schools, community organizations, and non-profits that benefit or operate in 37216.

Applications for the 2025 Neighborhood Grants are being accepted through November 14, 2025. The suggested grant request maximum is $1,000. Recipients will be notified by November 26, and awards will be presented at the December INA meeting on Thursday, December 4, at 7:00 p.m. You can apply online using the online form at our website: https://www.inglewood37216.org/grants
