Our Story
TVFV is a state wide non-profit agency that gives victims of crime (domestic violence, sexual assault, murder, etc.) a voice by helping them find services, advocating for laws and protection, and helping them with problems in the system.
Particularly, we inform the public about bills in the legislative system that impace crime and justice in a negative or positive way, to give victims a voice. We work on local and state boards and commissions to represent the voices of the victims. We are also involved in the Restorative Justice Project.
We present educational programs in high schools , businesses and the community about r**e, domestic violence and child abuse. We are highly involved in a new initiatvie that strives to rehabilate violent offenders by teachiing weekly classes with incarcerated men and women to help them become better and more educated citizens when they re-enter society.
