It's a simple yet life-changing invitation into God's mission for the world. He's building a kingdom on this Earth, and He is using you and me - normal, everyday Christians - to do it. We are convinced that He's not looking for the all-stars; He is simply looking for those who will be faithful to the mission. Paul told Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2, "And what you have heard from me in the presence of m
any witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." Therefore, whenever we go to teach the Bible, we want to invest deeply and strategically in a small but faithful group of men and women "who will be able to teach others also." Our goal isn't to reach thousands; it's to develop a few faithful, indigenous leaders to reach and teach those thousands in the decades after we leave. When God put the vision of Switchboard Missions on the heart of Jana Ogg and Nicole Odom, they could have never dreamed of what it would become. What was merely a God-inspired passion and zeal to see the gospel spread, the lost saved, and the Church equipped has now, three years later, resulted in the training and equipping of over 1,000 indigenous church leaders in 12 countries and the distribution of over 2,500 Bibles in some of the most under-served areas of the world.
