Join us tomorrow for a free lunch and an important conversation!

Many refugees and immigrants in our communities have experienced trauma through war, displacement, persecution, and loss. How can our churches better understand their experiences and offer meaningful, gospel-centered care?

Join the Diaspora Missions Collective tomorrow as David and Mary Helen Bush share practical, biblically grounded approaches to trauma care and ministry.

Thursday, October 15 | 12:00–1:30 PM
Nashville Baptist Association | 420 Main St.

Please register today so we can plan accordingly.

Join us for a practical conversation about trauma care and ministry among diaspora communities. David and Mary Helen Bush will introduce a biblical approach

October is Pastor Appreciation Month.

Much of a pastor’s ministry happens in moments most people will never see—the phone call after a difficult diagnosis, the prayer before an important decision, the hours spent preparing to preach, the hospital visit, the conversation with someone who is hurting, and the steady work of caring for a congregation week after week.

This month, we want to pause and say thank you to the pastors who faithfully serve churches across Nashville.

Take a moment this month to encourage your pastor. Pray for them. Send a note. Tell them specifically how their ministry has made a difference.

Pastors, we are grateful for you and for the ways you serve Christ and His church.

Collaboration doesn’t happen simply because people share the same church, staff, or mission. There are five practices that can help churches and ministry leaders build cultures of trust, shared ownership, open communication, and meaningful.

What might happen if churches and ministries stopped asking only, “What can we accomplish?” and began asking, “What could we accomplish together?”
