Nash County Rocked District Activity Day today!!! We had 18 kids including 2 cloverbuds and 2 entertains that competed today in Edgecombe Co. Just overcoming a fear and standing in front of others to do a speach is a win for me!! We had 18 winners today that have worked hard for months to prepare! We are proud to say 12 metals came back to Nash County overall!! Everyone wants to win but they already won when they got up in front of others to speak today!!!! Congratulations Nash Co 4-Hers we are so proud of you!! 🍀🍀

Today was the last of this series of Storytime in the Gardens!!! It was rabbits, rabbits, and more rabbits! Our special guests were a huge hit!!! Thank you to everyone that made it out to one of our storytimes we had a great time!!! Special Thank you to our Extension Master Gardeners for helping make this a success!! 🍀

This week’s featured book is Rabbits,Rabbits & More Rabbits read by Nash County 4-H staff.

After the story, children will enjoy hands-on activities and a special guest might HOP on in!!!!

This free program is designed for children in grades K–5 and is sponsored by Nash County 4-H and Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers.

Saturday was a great event put on by the NC Cooperative Extension - Nash County Center and The Town of Nashville supporting our two local Farmer’s Markets! We had youth from the Nash County 4-H that helped serve food for the evening!! Not all pictured but we had a very successful night and we appreciate everyone that came out and supported the organizations! 🍀
