🐊 What a Gator Gallop! Our students ran their hearts out, and we had an amazing turnout of family members cheering them on, some parents even jumped in to help run the obstacle course!

Thank you to every family who ran, cheered, donated, and volunteered, you helped make this year’s event a huge success. Together, we’ve surpassed $15,000 in fundraising, which will go toward new inclusive playground equipment so ALL Gower students can play together.

Donations are still being accepted through October 19 if you haven’t had a chance to give yet! https://app.99pledges.com/fund/2026gatorgallop

🐊 Gator Gallop is TOMORROW, Thursday, October 8! Here's the grade level schedule for the back playground:

4th Grade: 8:30-9:30 AM
3rd Grade: 9:30-10:30 AM
5th Grade: 10:30-11:30 AM
PreK: 11:30 AM-12:00 PM
2nd Grade: 12:00-1:00 PM
Kindergarten: 1:00-2:00 PM
1st Grade: 2:00-3:00 PM

Parents and families are invited to come cheer your student on! Please make sure your student wears comfortable clothing for running, crawling, and jumping, along with sneakers or running shoes (no sandals, boots, or slip-on shoes). It's looking chilly for Gallop Day, and students receive their Gator Gallop t-shirt that morning, so send them in a long-sleeve shirt or something that layers well underneath so they stay warm before it's time to gear up!

See you on the back playground, Gators! 🐊💚💙🧡💛

🐊 Gator Gallop is just 2 days away! This Thursday, October 8, each grade level heads to the back playground for their obstacle course fun run.

Every student gets a free Gator Gallop T-shirt to wear on the big day. Keep those donations coming, every bit helps us reach our next fundraising prize! 🐊💚💙🧡💛
