Celeste Riley of Memphis-Shelby County Schools was selected as Teacher of the Year at Treadwell Elementary School! The recognition reflects her commitment to student achievement, instructional excellence, and dedication to ensuring all students develop strong literacy foundations.

She has continued to expand her professional expertise in innovative and future-focused areas. During the Fall semester, she earned a Computer Science certification. In April, she completed an AI Business Certification through Johns Hopkins University.

This month, she'll complete the National Aspiring Principals Fellowship. As part of this work, her capstone project focused on implementing a schoolwide literacy acceleration model. The results proved students demonstrated one to two years of literacy growth within a single semester, highlighting the effectiveness of intentional, skill-based instruction and aligned systems of support.
