Happy 250th Birthday America!🇺🇸✨
We are honored to be a recipient of the TN250 Grant sponsored by the Tennessee State Museum. The grant exists to fund local exhibitions, educational programs, and community projects. It specifically highlights and preserves the unique stories, landmarks, and agricultural heritage of Tennessee.

There are two different ways for you and your troop to participate:

1️⃣Highest Awards Projects (funding up to $500 total per project):
Any materials/supplies needed to complete the project
Mileage associated with trips to/from site of project (up to $100 reimbursed at $0.62 per mile)
Any admission or parking fees associated with the project
Highest Award Projects must be in progress AND approved by GSMIDTN.
The deadline to apply for funding for your Highest Award Project is February 15th, 2027.

2️⃣Patch Program Participation (up to $27 per girl):
Any admission or parking fees associated with a troop visit to a historic space within TN.
Mileage associated with the trip (up to $100 reimbursed at $0.62 per mile)
Any fees associated with rented transportation for the trip
The deadline to apply for funding for the Patch Program participation is April 15th, 2027.

All grant funds are given on a reimbursement basis with receipts or documented travel. Funding is available on a first come-first serve basis prior to the deadline, upon approval from GSMIDTN staff.

A HUGE thank you to the wonderful 6th graders of Girl Scout Troop 2225 from Hillsboro Middle School in Leiper's Fork for thinking of our amazing volunteers! These thoughtful young ladies donated Girl Scout Cookies and created handmade thank-you cards to show their appreciation for the people who give so much of their time to the animals at Williamson County Animal Center.

Our volunteers are the heart of so much of what we do, and gestures like this remind them just how much their dedication matters. Thank you, Troop 2225, for spreading kindness, appreciation, and a little cookie-fueled happiness!
