Ten days left to get a table.

Community Expo spots for the 34th Nashville AIDS Walk and 5K Run close September 16.

September 26 at the Neuhoff District in Germantown, along Nashville's greenway, with 92Q broadcasting live. A morning in front of participants, volunteers, supporters and families who already got out of bed for their neighbors.

$100 a table, down from $300. Space is limited, and it is going!

In observance of Labor Day, Nashville CARES, CARES 360 Clinics in Nashville and Memphis, and our Springfield Campus will be closed on Monday, September 7.

You do not have to be in recovery, related to anybody, or involved in any way. You just have to be a person who might be in the room.

👣 Step Into the Legacy of the Nashville AIDS Walk

The Nashville AIDS Walk began in 1989, when Victoria Harris and others in the community brought people together during a time when HIV/AIDS were surrounded by fear, stigma, and uncertainty.

More than three decades later, that legacy continues — built by people who stepped up, showed up, and helped move our community forward. ❤️

At this year’s 34th Nashville AIDS Walk & 5K Run, we’re proud to honor two people who represent important chapters of that story:

🏆Legacy Award: Victoria Harris
Recognizing her pioneering role in launching the first Nashville AIDS Walk and her decades-long commitment to the HIV community.

🌟Thrive Award: Robert Gooch
Recognizing his years of service as a dedicated peer volunteer who has used his own experience to support others and strengthen Nashville CARES programs.

On September 26, we invite you to help us carry their legacy forward.

For too long, a veil stood between people and the care they deserved.

Stigma kept neighbors silent. Fear kept them from walking through doors that were open all along. For forty years Nashville CARES has been pulling that veil back, one conversation, one hand held, one person seen at a time.

Chapter Three begins in the space between hidden and seen. The Veil.

On November 14 it lifts for good, and what waits on the other side is a night this city has never seen.
