Lions of Tennessee USA

Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, our nation was forever changed.

Today, the Lions of Tennessee pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost in New York City, at the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. We honor the courage of the first responders and the countless acts of bravery, sacrifice, and compassion that united our nation during one of its darkest days.

A quarter-century has passed, but we remain committed to preserving their memory and supporting the families whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

What an incredible weekend in Memphis!

As the 50th USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum comes to a close, we are proud of the many Tennessee Lions who volunteered, worked behind the scenes, attended seminars, welcomed guests, and represented our state so well.

These photos capture just a few of the Lions who helped make this milestone Forum so memorable. Thank you to everyone who gave their time and shared their talents.

To all the Lions and Leos who traveled to Memphis, we hope you enjoyed your stay in our great state and experienced the very best of Tennessee hospitality.

It was truly an honor to welcome you!

Here is something special you may not know.

In 2025, the Sevier County Lions Club presented the Dollywood Foundation with a Melvin Jones Fellowship, one of the highest honors in Lionism.

Dolly Parton was also an honorary member of the Sevier County Lions Club, creating a special connection between her legacy of service and the Lions of Tennessee. 🩷🦋

The Lions of Tennessee join people across our state and around the world in honoring the life and legacy of Dolly Parton.

Her music brought us joy, but her kindness, generosity, and love for the people of Tennessee made an impact far beyond the stage.

From the Smoky Mountains to every corner of our state, her legacy will continue to inspire generations.

Thank you, Dolly. ❤️🦋

Coming to Tennessee for the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum? Here is somthing to do! Enjoy our states rich history and beauty!

This What to Do Wednesday, we suggest taking in the Mud Island River Park. While some features are closed as Mud Island is under construction, there's still plenty to do in this park. There are stunning views of the Memphis skyline and the Mississippi River on the half-mile walk across a skybridge that starts within a couple of blocks of the Resonant Convention Center. Walk a scale model of the Mississippi River – just remember, there’s no swimming in the Gulf of Mexico here.

The Fayetteville TN Lions, is making Tennessee look good! Way to go!

Ten Fayetteville Lions gathered early Saturday morning to do our quarterly Adopt-A-Highway litter cleanup along our adopted stretch of Wi******er Highway. We managed to beat the heat, collect a lot of highway litter, and have fun too. Go "Team Trash"!

Today, we ask the Tennessee Lions family and our friends around the world to keep Debbie Cantrell in your thoughts and prayers following her recent diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

International Director Debbie has faithfully served our Association with compassion, leadership, and a heart for service. During this challenging time, we stand beside her and her family, believing in the strength of our Lions family.

We encourage everyone to follow the Together we Rise for Debbie page and consider participating in the online auction they are hosting to help support Debbie and her family. Every bid, every donation, and every prayer is a meaningful way to show your support.

To International Director Debbie: Please know that your Tennessee Lions family is thinking of you every step of the way. We are lifting you and your family up in prayer and sending our love, strength, and encouragement. You are not facing this alone.

As Lions, we are more than an organization, we are a family. Let’s come together in true Lions fashion and surround ID Debbie and her family with the love and support that define who we are.
