As outgoing President of the BCMA, I want to thank all of the board members for their service to our music community and the community at large. We have collectively accomplished some pretty noteworthy things to further music in our county.
Among the successes are our Amplify Youth program, the Amplify Nashville show in 2024, the Hippies & Cowboys Music Festival this year, the Songwriter Showdown, and the Li'l Nashville Ho**ey Tonk & Bluegrass Christmas show. Through these, we were able to fund our events, as well as underwrite our youth program lessons and instruments, and support the great work being done daily at Mother's Cupboard Community Kitchen, Inc.
Now, as we roll into a new year, we pass the torch to the next board to build on what has been accomplished and to further the cause of music and musicians. All the best to Kenan as President to lead this organization to even bigger and better heights.
Thank you to Corey Flick, Michelle Flick, Delana Hare, and Adam Hare for your past service on the board, helping to build this organization. Your efforts are much appreciated.
