On November 8/2021 Sheriff's Deputy Lena Nicole Marshall (Jackson Co. Sheriff's Office, GA) was killed in the line of duty, while conducting a domestic case. Her tragic death isn't an isolated incident. So far this year, 411 officers have died in the line of duty in the U.S.
We urge everyone to support our Firefighters and their Law Enforcement departments.
We thank the family's of all our officers for supporting them in the choice of occupation. It is the most dangerous job to have.
They do it our of the love for their fellow man. To help and assist people in need, and uphold the laws of our country. It's not for the low pay and disrespect the something receive.
We hope, we pray that our law enforcement and firefighters, stay safe, and that their families are strengthened while they are away at work, and when they do not come home, that God will comfort them as only He can.
As a nation we should stand behind our officers, and when they make the ultimate sacrifice, we should support their Families and Departments.
If you would like to learn more about our organization, or wish to help us in our mission to support the fallen in Arkansas, please contact us @ (870) 557-6813

The Arkansas Families of Fallen Officers would like to thank everyone who attended our benefit and the Memorial Service, we held Saturday September 18th in the Nathan park & pavillion.
We thank each person who volunteered there time and added to the service, by reading the names from their own departments. It means so much more to us and the audience, when the names of the fallen, are read by fellow members.
To the people who attended and watch the Memorial Service, we thank you for coming and showing that you care about Arkansas's Fallen. You help show that Their NAMES will NEVER be FORGOTTEN.
We want to thank the businesses who donated the raffle items, and those who believe in our mission to the Families of the fallen, and donated to our work by purchasing the raffle tickets.
And to the volunteers who came and helped in so many ways, we thank you.
If there are any who would like to join our organization, we would welcome you do so. If you would like to start a branch in your town, we would be willing to give you any assistance you need.
Arkansas Families of Fallen Officers, President
Richard Curry (870) 557-6813

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Side X Side event at the Nathan fire department had to be terminated. Some ATV riders have made trails through young pine plantations and trashed the roads on and going to and from the AG&F WMA. Weyerhaeusre Co. has asked AG&F to stop all ATV riding on the WMAs. Then Weyerhaeuser has said they want all ATV recreational riding stopped on their roads.
We still plan on the event in Nathan September 18, 2021 to honor the Officers that have been killed in the line of duty, and support the families of the officers who are kill in the future.
Arkansas had three police officers shot and killed in 2020. With Walmart stopping us from using their store fronts to raise donations because of the covid pandemic, our accounts are below the $5,000 we need to make our next donation, when the next officer (law enforcement or firefighter) gives his or her life protecting the state of Arkansas.
We will update the event schedule as we add things to it. If you want to show your support for these brave officers, and support their families when tragedy strike, make plans to attend.

2020 was a bad year for everyone especially on nonprofits. The AFFO has started asking the public and businesses to help us support our first responders by helping us support the Families of our brave and honorable offices who are killed in the line of duty all across our state.
We are in dire need of funds to meet our obligations to these families. Those of you who have supported us in the past years understand our mission. For those who don't know. If any first responders are killed in the line of duty, anywhere in Arkansas, and leave behind school age children, our donation to the family is $5,000.00.
Donations can be sent to: Arkansas Families of Fallen Officers, Inc (AFFO) @ 896 Polk Meeting House Rd. Nashville, AR 71852 or we will pick it up (860) 557-6813

We are having a person, or persons unknown making donations to our organization, by way of Facebook. Who ever you are, we thank you, and hope you get others to do the same.
With covid 19 among us, our main source of donations, (Walmart store front's) stopped by Walmart Headquarters, our fundraising has all but stoped.
