It’s Giving Tuesday 2025!
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support our mission to ensure that families are empowered and equipped through specialized programs of support to provide young children who are blind or low vision their absolute BEST start.
With your support to Blind Early Services TN, a donation of any amount can help transform lives and create positive change upon the community we serve across the state of Tennessee.
From the moment a child is born, they start learning. Every single moment big or small is an opportunity. Up to 90% of what a child learns and up to 90% of a child’s brain development occurs in the first five years of life. That information comes from vision. But what if the visual pathway isn’t working? And what if a diagnosis is not detected?
Early intervention is critical to support this critical period of rapid development and learning. Our specialized team of certified vision professionals such as TVIs (Teachers of the Visually Impaired), Developmental Therapist, and Orientation & Mobility Specialists are trained to provide caregivers with tools, techniques, confidence, and resources that allow their child to reach their BEST potential. Our goal is to reach every child living with blindness and low vision in the entire state of Tennessee. But, we need your help!
What can you do? You can help by donating and/or starting a Facebook or Instagram fundraiser! Set a goal and encourage family & friends to donate. This is a great opportunity to share a few words about why YOU support our mission while helping us reach our goal of $5,000. Together, we can make a lasting impact!
How your gift is used:
$25 braille books and early literacy tools $50 tactile toys and educational resources
$75 interpretation services for one hour
$100 one session with a certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) or Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS)
$150 two custom sensory spaces
$300 training for educators and therapists $400 one month of weekly in-home sessions
