If you’re a teacher, or if you know a senior can you make sure they get this:). It’s just a time of encouragement for our seniors who have had a lot taken away of no fault of their own.

I’ve asked the seniors to wear their school shirt because I am bringing some on live with me to give their school a shout out. Thank you In advance. This will go down on the Think2change Instagram page at 8:00 pm. Teachers and parents are welcome as well. That page is (all to together, no dot after change)

As I’ve said you guys are not forgotten. You’re a special senior class. So join Think2change at 8:00 PM tonight for some encouragement and to be honored. Wear your school shirt. This school year through Think2change I will be focusing on mental health and teen su***de. Wether it’s student assemblies or teacher training I want to raise as much awareness as I possibly can. This is the 8th year of going Think2change. I’m just as passionate about helping teenagers as I was in year one.

US News recently said “Suicide rates among teens and young adults have reached their highest point in nearly two decades.”. The problem isn’t going away. I’ve been saying for year that we have to be proactive instead of reactive. The biggest mistake we can make is to say “well that would never happen in our school or our community” below is the first ever testimonial video we did 8 years ago. If you’re thinking about bringing a speaker in for an assembly then consider Think2change. Two options for an assembly:

1. Power of one - I share with students the true story of my childhood. Helping them to see that they can overcome some of life’s toughest challenges. This will also raise awareness for bullying, abuse, depression and teen su***de.

2. Thinkb4upost - Raising awareness about the dangers and pitfalls of social media. I will share a true story of a teenager who almost lost it all with one click.
