We are abundant in hugs from our recent trip to Honduras! šŸ¤—
From children to their class mates and teachers,
between board members at Boundless to our partner organizations,
from mother to child and
community elders to their great grandchildren
hugs are part of this economy!

On the ground deep in the mountains with Founder ā›°ļø Shannon started Boundless after her first humanitarian trip in Honduras 6 years ago.

While there is much impact being made through her efforts, there is still much work to do. Education, medical care, nutrition and employment, well they all are impacted by generational cycles of poverty. Shannon and the team were incredibly moved and humbled, and also more affirmative in the our mission to help children and families.

Youā€™ll hear more about plans to develop projects of scale as well as expand projects that have been a great success.

What is more fun than showing other people your favorite things? The children in the Villanueva community we met pointed out every flower, fruit and plant they grew at home.

This giant squash was the highlight of the pride of one of the boys! The girls picked us flowers šŸŒŗ of all kinds.

Its such a gift to see families feeling safe, healthy and proud of their lives!

For Boundless, our partners and communities we want to give more people the opportunity to share in this experience of sharing success in homes, at school and with full bellies!

Boundless meets communities in remote places without access to clinics or education. We meet children that have to travel an hour to a school far away, crossing dangerous highways, paying for transportation that families canā€™t afford, and enter environments which arenā€™t safe.

Our process is important because we want to ensure that our projects are successful. The communities ask for help, we build a profile for their need and urgency and then work with our partners and builders for impact.

We work with integrity, honesty, transparency and legacy for the communities and for donors, and that is why Boundless Foundation will keep expanding.

POV: Dreams do come true

The vibe is ā€œgratitude and graciasā€ all day.

Weā€™ve met more than a thousand children and hundreds of families in the past few days.

Sometimes the children or the school principal says ā€œyou are the angel and the blessing I prayed for.ā€

These are the children and families that we sought to connect with and create positive impact in their lives, yet its our hearts that are blown wide open.

šŸ«šŸ¦‹šŸŽ’šŸŖ‘šŸ” 1 School built with us serves nearly 100 students, but thousands of people in Honduras. Thatā€™s because many school building organizations donā€™t serve remote areas, but we do. So when we support a community itā€™s often been neglected by other programs, so the impact is immense. From night classes, feeding programs, community gathering spaces, people from many miles away are served.

Here at Boundless weā€™re receiving new perspectives on our mission. For each donation towards each brick, desk, toilet, paper, backpack and roof shingle, we our immensely grateful! Now that weā€™re planning our next school build, we can see the expansion before our eyes.
