Our nonprofit group visiting a local state park for an educational and hands-on experience focused on nature, wildlife, pollinators, forestry, and environmental care.
This trip is designed to help participants connect with the natural world while learning about:
Pollinators& Bees
Exploring how bees and other pollinators support plant life, food systems, and healthy ecosystems. Participants will learn why protecting pollinators is essential and how we can create bee-friendly environments in our own communities.
Trees& Forestry
Learning about forest ecosystems, tree identification, and the important role trees play in air quality, climate regulation, and wildlife habitats.
Wildlife& Environmental stewardship
Observing local wildlife (from birds to small mammals and insects) and discuss how habitats function and why conservation efforts matter.
Participants will learn practical ways to care for the environment, such as reducing waste, protecting water sources, and supporting sustainable practices.
