sigma epsilon chapter ✰ est. 1954 The Sigma Epsilon chapter of Chi Omega at Vanderbilt University was founded in 1954.

As the largest sorority in the nation, Chi Omega encompasses almost 300,000 members and over 170 collegiate chapters, with 5,000 new members joining each year. Chi Omega has six purposes that guide the direction of every chapter and every member. Membership in Chi Omega means a commitment to these purposes:
- Friendship
- Community Service
- Campus Activities
- Scholarship
- High Standards of Personnel
- Career and Personal Development

“As the first person in my family to rush a sorority, I had no idea what to expect. While I anticipated meeting new friends, there was no way I could’ve predicted the outpouring support, generosity, and unconditional love I’ve received since joining Chi Omega. From the very moment I ran home surrounded by so many of my best friends, my Chi O sisters have been such an integral part of my Vanderbilt journey. Whether with my study buddies, game day pals, or best fam ever, Chi O has provided unwavering loyalty and (many) laughs through it all. Though we are apart during the summer, I feel so incredibly lucky to have my met lifelong best friends and cannot wait to form even more memories when we return!”

Missing our juniors overseas💚here’s a message from abroad sister, Maggie Henneman!

“Where to start?! This past semester in Paris has been life changing. As someone who studied French all my life, it’s been amazing to immerse myself in the language and use a skill I thought I’d left behind in highschool. I’ve met so many amazing people from all around the world, and I’ve even got a couple of my best Chi O friends here with me!

From catching 6 am flights to wandering the streets of Paris aimlessly, this experience has been such an adventure and a gift. Y’all wouldn’t believe the amount of clothes I’ve bought. I’ll miss France so much next semester, but I can’t wait to reunite with my chisters back home!!! ❤️💛”

One more before we get our new hooties! We loved getting to meet all of you and share how much Make-A-Wish and Thistle Farms mean to us on weekend one 💙As we prepare for Sisterhood on Friday, here’s a few words from our incoming Sisterhood Chair, Alli Stiles:

“Chi Omega’s sisterhood has been one of the most impactful parts of my college experience. From being initiated into Kappa Chapter to being warmly welcomed as a transfer into the Sigma Epsilon Chapter at Vanderbilt, the women of Chi Omega have been a constant source of support and encouragement. Across the nation, Chi Omegas have become my role models, best friends, and a true sense of home. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and intentionality define our sisterhood, and I am so excited for our new member class to experience what makes Chi Omega so special.” 💗
