The goal has never been to just win. It was to present challenges and teach perseverance. We pushed them to learn, grow, and dig deeper than they ever have. We showed them what they were capable of, and they showed us what teamwork truly looks like.

To end the season, they brought home the GOLD.

They built it through every blocked shot, every backcheck, every assist and goal, and every shift. Goals get the headlines, but championships are built by teams. The steady goalie. The ferocious defenseman. The grinding forward. The first-year player finding confidence. The fifth-year player becoming a leader.

We said we were going to play good hockey. We were going to be better than last time. We were going to work hard and grow.

This is just a small glimpse of what they accomplished.

We brought together more than 30 kids from all skill levels. We had 8-year-olds playing full ice for the first time. We had 10U players competing at 12U. We had first-year goalies in the net. We had house league players stepping into travel hockey. We won, and we lost.

4 cities. Hundreds of miles. 2 age brackets. Every skill level working together for each other.

They came together, rose to the challenge, and grew into a team.

Mission accomplished, Torpedoes.

Spending Memorial Day weekend with some of the coolest kids we know, doing what they love to do!! 🏒❤️🇺🇸

Work hard. Play hard. Stay humble.
They did exactly that for our FIRST summer tournament. Their positive energy and sportsmanship is unmatched. Their coaches said they did everything that was asked of them and more. They made it a point to support and uplift each other ALL weekend.

They missed the championship by 1 goal, but they didn't let it get them down. The defense and goaltending, like a brick wall. The offense battled like warriors. They had the lowest goals against and SO MANY beautiful passes, shots, goals, assists, and saves. Our littlest Torpedoes exploded in skills and our biggest Torpedoes mentored like champions.

Final record of 2 - 1 - 1 and a 3rd place finish for the weekend. We could not be more proud of our Sub City Torpedoes. Thank you to everyone who showed their support. On the way up. 💥
