A water leak at one of the manifolds was discovered and repaired today along with slightly increased pressure to the top of the hill. We obviously aren't sure how long the water leaked had been active but for now we're leak free. And a big thank you to the members who checked in as to why the gate was open. It's good to know we have members watching out for us. And if you do see the gate open feel free to stop in and check and make sure everything is okay. Thanks all for now.

Great day to host DNR Hunter Education at SCC.
Thank you to our members for getting in work hours and hosting. From parking cars, to preparing food, hauling off trash and cleaning up at end of the day. 10 members and 1 members spouse shared the load of a very long day.

Tree cutting is scheduled for Monday April 13th at 10:a.m. waeather permitting access to the upper Campground will be blocked until road is cleared.If you would like to help with cleanup bring saws and your gloves.And yes it will count toward your work detail

Again, thank you to all of the members who attended our first official meeting of 2026 . You are the reason this club still exists. Without the members the Club would cease to exist. Continue to bring in friends and family so we can grow. Lots of great things planned for 2026. Spillway reconstruction, planter box build, trail maintenance and many painting projects planned to spruce the club up. Also ramping up plans for our Big Birthday Bash next year celebrating 75 years of The Speedway Conservation Club at its current location. Remember our first official donation is currently underway. Personal hygiene products for the Salvation Army summer season. These items are most helpful in trial or travel size quantity. Lets continue to be the change in someones life. Stay safe , stay kind and take a kid or someone who has never been fishing.
