In late 2025, the Indiana State Board of Accounts conducted an audit of our financial records. This is commonplace for entities such as ours (Utility Wastewater).

We passed.

SBOA did not find any major issues with our accounting documentation and/or processes.

In 2025, we repeated source sampling at the same locations we did in 2021. The thought was to see if the issue still exists. After we received the results, this January we created an infographic to share the results.

We will post the results on our website but summarized the data for ease of sharing.

Tonight's Monthly Board Meeting, January 9, 2025 is going to be cancelled.

Our next meeting will be in February on Thursday Feb 13.

Next Saturday is Septic Summit 2.0; September 14 from 10-1 at the Brown County Fairgrounds.

Please join us along with your questions to learn about septic systems. We will have equipment onsite such as tanks, pumps, pipes, and a vacuum truck.

- Informational booths will be setup talking about assistance programs, septic care, and environmental efforts to protect our local lakes and streams.

- The LoveBugs 4-H Club will have lunch options available for purchase.

- At 11:00 a professional panel will share best ways to keep your septic system operating at its best.

- At 12:30 door prizes will be raffled off including vouchers for $200 septic system pumping!

The August Meeting date has changed. We will now meet Wednesday August 14 at the 4H Community Room.

Meeting Location Update:

As this is the week of the fair we are moving our monthly meeting LOCATION. We will now meet at the Pine Tree Hills clubhouse. Same time. Same date.

So this month's meeting will now be June 13, 6PM at Pine Tree Hills. We have notified the newspaper.

Our PER from 2023 has been modified into many smaller chunks, called DIVISIONS. For 2024, working with SRF, the Phase1Division1 project details are below. We will be submitting a new PER to reflect the P1D1 project with future divisions to come. Below is a snapshot of our website that includes a link to the packet, and the DRAFT map of the proposed area.
