THE HOWARD JONES SHOW
“Murder Culture and Miseducation: Is There a Connection?”

What happens when a young person learns how to retaliate before learning how to resolve a conflict? When carrying a weapon becomes a symbol of power, and walking away is treated as weakness?

We must ask what our children are learning—in classrooms, at home, online, and in the streets.

Education must prepare young people to read, reason, work, and live together. A diploma should represent preparation. Our children need skills, purpose, accountability, and adults who refuse to give up on them.

Educational failure does not excuse violence. But holding people accountable should also lead us to examine the conditions that help violence take root.

Are we teaching our children how to build a future? Are we showing them that their lives—and their neighbors’ lives—have value?

Join The Howard Jones Show for a conversation about education, violence, responsibility, and reclaiming our young people.
