He’s committed to helping expand City of Hope’s reach in Atlanta and making sure more people in our communities have access to early screening, trusted information, world-class treatment, and the resources that can save lives. “Joining the City of Hope board is an opportunity to serve and to help save lives,” said Prophet. “The disparities in cancer outcomes in Black and Brown communities are real, and far too often people are diagnosed later than they should be because they did not have access to early screenings, information or the right resources. Early detection can change the trajectory of a life. I want to use my voice, my relationships and my influence across Atlanta to help close that gap, connect more people to screenings and resources, and make sure our communities know that world class cancer care is available right here in our backyard. This is about turning access into action and helping more families get the care they need before it is too late.”
