Hello Friends of Moby!

We hope you don't mind, but Clementine has hijacked the Mobilize for Moby page in hopes that she will get the same happy ending - a new loving family who understands her needs. She knows that you all played a key part in making his adoption happen and she is hoping you will all rally around her as well!

If you aren't familiar with Clementine, let us introduce you to this wonderful girl!

Clementine recently celebrated her 5th birthday. She was actually born in a foster home as part of the BCHS family. Clem was a loved family member for the first 3.5 years of her life until her family’s life changed and they didn’t have time for her.

Since then she has been adopted and returned twice. Both families dearly loved her but her dislike of cats ended the one adoption and the next adopter developed health issues and could no longer care for her. In the last eighteen months she has been bounced around in three adopted homes and two foster homes. Of her five years of life, Clem has spent nearly one entire year homeless. Every single person that has lived with Clementine has raved about what a great dog she is.

Clem deserves better. Clem deserves for the next five years and beyond to be the best of her life – full of love, happiness, comfy beds, treats and everything her heart desires. We need your help to make that happen! Spread the word far and wide about this amazing girl!

CAMPOUT

Moby had a GREAT night thanks to a couple BCHS staff. He got to spend the night in an RV watching Grey's Anatomy, eating snacks, getting lots of snuggles and saving Linda and Kaitlin from all the deer in the field.

Apparently he insists on sleeping in the bed, AND sharing the covers. Ok, he may snore a little but his warmth will save on your heating bill!

BEST DAY EVER!

Moby got to go home for a sleepover with one of our staff over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was his first time in a home in 2 yeas.This is what she said:

"Moby was a perfect guest during his sleepover. No accidents, no chewing or destroying things, no getting into the garbage. He loved playing with his toy and snuggling in bed with me. He also really liked having scrambled eggs for breakfast. This mellow boy would do best in a calm, quiet home. He’s more than happy to spend the day curled up on the couch watching tv!

Moby is going to make someone the very best companion. He may need a bit of extra attention, but the reward is worth it. You can help make this happen by continuing to spread the word.

YOU'RE INVITED TO MOBY'S BIRTHDAY BASH - COMING SOON

Moby is about to complete his 2nd year at the shelter, so we're throwing him a party. It's a birthday of sorts, since his life really began again when he arrived at the shelter.

All of his shelter friends will be there and you'll be invited to participate via Facebook. We'll have presents to open and treats to share and so much love. We want Moby to know that no matter how long it takes for us to find him a home, we'll do everything we can to make his time with us happy.

If you'd like to celebrate with Moby, we've put together a wish list of gifts specifically for him (and some for the other dogs) on Amazon. If you want to drop something off at the shelter, spray cheese in a can and soft dog treats are his favorite.

Then stay tuned and we'll announce the date of the party.
