Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Alpha Delta Omega Chapter Alpha Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was organized on October 9, 1927. Martin Emerald Ball.

The charter was signed by National President, Pauline Puryear, in December, 1927. As a result of the 1927 Boule ruling, graduates and undergraduates had to be separated as chapters. Alpha Delta Omega was separated from Pi Chapter of Fisk University. Today, the Chapter boasts over 300 members and own their own sorority house, The Ivy Center of Nashville. The Ivy Center of Nashville was built and the mortgage was burned after five (5) years. The Chapter's meetings are held at the house but the building also serves the community as a place to host social activities. The Ivy Center of Nashville Foundation serves as the charitable arm of the sorority. The Foundation sponsors the fundraising activities such as the Biennial Precious Pearls Cotillion and more recently, the Johnella H. The Cotillion provides scholarships and the Emerald Ball provided support for the Sickle Cell Program at Meharry Medical College. Many other activities are a part of the Chapter's mission of "service to all mankind." Charitable contributions:

These two ADO sisters and blood sisters vote early and party early! Homecoming season at an HBCU is unmatched—the tailgate, the band, the step show, the fashion, and seeing long-time friends! But before you hit the festivities or step foot on the Yard, make sure you show up at the polling place!
Our HBCUs have always been the heart of civil rights, student activism, and community power. When we cast our ballots, we honor the legacy of those who fought for our right to speak up and step out.

If minority votes didn’t hold real power, opponents wouldn’t go to such extreme lengths to suppress them. Every closed polling place, every restrictive law, and every redrawn district is proof of one thing: your ballot holds the power to change everything.
