Happy Thanksgiving from Mission:Possible!

This week reminded us what can happen when a community shows up with open hands and open hearts. When we faced an unexpected challenge, you came together and turned it into one of the biggest blessings we’ve ever experienced.

To everyone who rushed in with turkeys, donations, and support — thank you. You turned a moment of uncertainty into an overwhelming display of generosity and love.

Because of you, tens of thousands of families across Middle Tennessee are celebrating today with a warm meal and hope for tomorrow. We are grateful for every volunteer, every sponsor, every partner, and every prayer that made this year’s Turkey Fry one we will never forget.

🎉 1,600 Frozen Turkeys Delivered 🦃❤️

Today we had the privilege of giving 1,600 frozen turkeys to incredible organizations throughout our community. These groups show up every single day to support local families, seniors, veterans, and individuals who are facing tough times.

This distribution is more than a holiday tradition. It’s a reminder of what can happen when people, partners, and purpose come together. We are grateful for the chance to stand alongside the nonprofits and volunteers who make Middle Tennessee stronger, one act of kindness at a time.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Together we are making sure more tables are full, more hearts are lifted, and more neighbors feel the warmth of the season.🧡

The Mission:Possible Turkey Fry wouldn’t be possible without the generosity and support of Cargill and The Poultry Federation. Every year, they ensure we have the turkeys needed to prepare and serve thousands of meals to families, seniors, children, and individuals across Middle Tennessee. Their contribution goes far beyond simply providing food — it fuels a tradition of hope, warmth, and community during the holiday season.

By helping us secure every turkey, Cargill and ThePoultry Federation make it possible for volunteers, partner organizations, and community members to come together to fight hunger and make a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors. Their dedication exemplifies the spirit of giving and shows the profound impact that organizations can have when they step up to support their communities.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is one of our most impactful community partners, working every day to fight hunger and provide hope across the region. Through a network of more than 400 partner agencies, they serve children, seniors, individuals, and families experiencing food insecurity — ensuring that no one in our community has to wonder where their next meal will come from.

Their support plays a vital role in our own Mission:Possible efforts as well. Our annual Turkey Fry simply wouldn’t be possible without Second Harvest’s partnership — they graciously store every turkey leading up to the event, making it possible for us to safely prepare and serve thousands of meals to those who need them most.

Beyond food distribution, Second Harvest provides nutrition education, supports community meal programs, rescues food that would otherwise go to waste, and responds quickly during times of crisis. Their reach is wide, their heart is big, and their commitment strengthens our entire community.

We’re proud to partner with an organization that shows what it truly means to serve our neighbors — and we’re excited to support their mission even further at this year’s concert with a canned food drive benefiting Second Harvest.

On November 25th, as we gather for the 20th Annual Turkey Fry, we are inviting our entire community to help us make an even greater impact. This year, Mission: Possible will be hosting an onsite donation drive, and we need your help to collect the items our partner organizations rely on every single day.

If you are joining us on the 25th, or even stopping by for a moment, we would love for you to bring items that meet immediate needs in our community. Our most needed donations are canned meat, coffee, granola bars, apple sauce pouches, underwear, travel size hygiene products, peanut butter, ramen noodles, shower curtains, individual kid snacks, squishy animal toys, and decks of cards. These items may seem small, but they provide comfort, nourishment, dignity, and a sense of care for the individuals and families we serve.

Every donation you bring on the 25th goes straight to the partner organizations that support our neighbors facing homelessness every day. When you show up with something as simple as a can of food, a pack of hygiene products, or a small toy for a child, you are reminding someone in Middle Tennessee that they are seen and supported.

Mark your calendar. Bring a friend. Pick up a few items and meet us at the Turkey Fry on November 25th. Together, we can fill this season with generosity, hope, and real change for our community. 💛

Meet Our Partner: King Kooker
If you’ve ever seen the Turkey Fry in action, you know it’s a sight. Rows of pots. Volunteers working shoulder to shoulder. Turkeys going out by the hundreds. King Kooker makes that possible. Their burners and pots are the heart of our cooking process, helping us serve thousands of meals with care and consistency. We’re proud to partner with a company that believes in feeding and serving our community.

If you’ve ever stood in the middle of the Turkey Fry or any of our community events, you know the energy. Laughter, hard work, quiet care, and a whole lot of heart. That’s because of our volunteers. Hundreds of you return every year to serve your neighbors with dignity and compassion. Thank you for believing in this work and for helping us carry it forward. We truly could not do it without you.

On Veterans Day, we honor the men and women who have served and protected our country. Many of the individuals we meet through our work have served, and we recognize both their service and their humanity. Today, we stand in gratitude and respect for every veteran in our community and beyond. Thank you.
