AGA has officially opened the search for its next CEO.
We're looking for a strategic, mission-driven leader to help shape the future of the accountability community and guide AGA through its next chapter of growth and impact. The CEO will serve from AGA's Alexandria, VA, headquarters and work closely with members, chapters, volunteers, and partners across the government accountability community.

The Nashville Chapter had a great time celebrating so many achievements at our annual awards ceremony! From those retiring from the accounting field to those just coming into the accounting field, and everyone in between. We would like to recognize a few wonderful faces who make Nashville AGA a great chapter to be a part of. Retirees include Jim Arnette (pictured), Kathy Stickel, and Leigh Anne Burtchaell. We thank you for your dedication to our chapter! Scholarship winners include Kathryn Morphy (pictured) and Caden Abbott. We wish both of you the best in your upcoming college days!

For our final Community Service project for this program year, we are collecting funds for Isaiah 117. Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home where children can be brought to wait while child welfare staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good placement. Join the Nashville Chapter of AGA for our Spring Breakfast at the William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Tower in Tennessee Room 1 on Monday, April 20, 2026. Breakfast will begin at 7:30 AM. For our monthly community service event, we are collecting monetary donations for Walden's Puddle. This non-profit organization provides care and treatment to sick, injured, and orphaned native Tennessee wildlife. It's March which means it's CGFM month! So many of our members attended the lunch sporting their red attire to show their pride in being a CGFM. AGA National President, Mark Mitchell, was our speaker! Mark not only spoke on internal controls, but also made sure to give a shout out for CGFM month and shared his personal experiences of being a CGFM. Rachelle and ReKeba, CGFM Co-Chairs, gave away prizes to two lucky members. Matt and Terry won a bluetooth speaker, just in time for these warm spring days ahead. We look forward to seeing everyone next month for our last CPE luncheon!
