Rotary Club of Brentwood (Noon) has been a faithful supporter of Entryway Nashville for the past several years, and we are incredibly grateful for their partnership.

I had the privilege of attending their June meeting, where they awarded $2,000 grants to more than 20 organizations serving the Brentwood community. It was inspiring to see so many nonprofits being recognized and supported.

What an impactful Thankful Thursday!

We were honored to gather yesterday at the Greater Nashville Apartment Association for a morning of encouragement, inspiration, and connection.

Dr. Debbie Phillips reminded us how to navigate the busiest seasons of life and work by keeping the hive alive—investing in one another, leading with purpose, and staying resilient.

We were also deeply moved by Roger O'Neil Alexander III, a recent Entryway participant who is now employed in the multi-family industry. Roger courageously shared part of his journey, reminding us that meaningful employment doesn't just provide a paycheck—it restores hope, dignity, and opportunity. There weren't many dry eyes in the room.

Thank you to Dr. Debbie and Roger for inspiring us to become our best selves.

We are also grateful to the Entryway Nashville City Advisory Board, the Greater Nashville Apartment Association, and the many apartment industry partners and referring partners who make Entryway's mission possible. Another class is almost ready to launch new careers!
Entryway Nashville is nearing completion of our week-long Multi-Family Maintenance Training Program, and six participants are preparing to take the next step toward careers in apartment maintenance.
Throughout the week, participants received hands-on instruction in apartment make-ready procedures, EPA certification preparation, pool maintenance, financial literacy, interviewing skills, grounds maintenance, and other essential skills needed to succeed in the multi-family housing industry.
We are especially grateful to Mark Fiscus, Maintenance Director at Freeman Webb, for leading this outstanding training program and investing his time and expertise in our participants.
A special thank you also goes to Leanna Terlikosky of Fifth Third Bank for teaching financial literacy and to Maria Williams, Regional Sales Manager for Rasa Floors, for leading an engaging session on interviewing skills.
This week also included a day of shadowing experienced maintenance technicians at apartment communities, giving participants valuable real-world exposure to the profession.
The journey culminates on June 26, when participants will meet with property management companies at our Maintenance Job Fair. We can't wait to see where these new careers begin!
