With profound sadness, NAREB Nashville REALTISTS, Inc. announces the passing of Rosalind Robinson, a Charter Member of our chapter and a true champion for our community.

Rosalind’s life and work reflected the heart of our mission, Democracy in Housing. As the Founder and President of Residential Resources, Inc., she spent 28 years leading a HUD- and THDA-certified nonprofit agency dedicated to homebuyer education, predatory lending prevention, financial literacy, housing counseling, and affordable housing construction.

She was a Realtist in the truest sense, not only working in real estate, but fighting for access, stability, equity, and opportunity for our people. Her service reached across generations, beginning with her involvement in Nashville’s Civil Rights movement and continuing through decades of advocacy as a Certified HUD Counselor and community leader.

We invite our members and community partners to join us in honoring her life, leadership, and legacy.

5th ANNUAL BLACK EXCELLENCE IN REAL ESTATE AWARDS ✨

“You want to talk about a night, a party, a celebration of excellence? You need to be here.”

2 weeks ago, NAREB Nashville completely took over the National Museum of African American Music for our 5th Annual Black Excellence in Real Estate Awards, and the energy in that room is still unmatched.

From the stunning gowns and sharp tuxedos to the infectious joy on the dance floor, the night was an absolute movie.

We celebrated our trailblazers, handed out well-deserved hardware to our Top Producers, and toasted to the brilliant minds shaping the future of real estate in our city. Between the clinking glasses, the cheers as names were called to the stage, the selfies, and the soulful live music, it was a profound reminder of the power of our collective success.

We laughed, we danced, and most importantly, we lifted each other up.

But beyond the glitz, the awards, and the incredible venue, this night was anchored in something deeper. It was about standing side-by-side with giants. As was beautifully captured in the room:

“There ain’t nothing like being around your own people and being celebrated... In this hard industry, where a lot of times it feels like everyone’s against each other, you’ve got to join a group like this. You need the community, you need the friendship, you need to be able to rely on each other in these hard times.”

If you missed it, you truly missed out—but it is never too late to pull up a seat at our table and make sure you are there next year.

We are an organization that is only as strong as our membership. Our ability to impact our community, build generational wealth, and break barriers relies heavily on our numbers. Seeing the sheer magnitude of Black excellence in that room was breathtaking, but we need more of you in the room with us.
“This is community. This is the premier network of Black real estate professionals.”
So, we leave you with this: If not us, then who? “If you are not a member of NAREB Nashville, then I ask you, why not?”
