WoodmenLife - Nashville,TN Chapter 1

Today our TN-W Nashville Chapter 1, delivered over 200 items & a check for $500 to the Mt Juliet Help Center for the chapter’s 3 quarter project, Feed the Hungry project. Our chapter collected can goods & household staples for this project. With over 200 lbs. of food & money for the center to purchase needed items, not collected.

Thank you to all our chapter members who help support our chapter on a daily basis.

Nashville Chapter 1, Annual Picnic, held @ Pleasant GreenPark was a Huge Success!! The chapter provided the members with a BarBQ dinner & delicious dessert. The chapter also presented 8 WoodmenLife awards. Fraternal Spirit Award goes toJudy & Randy Cline, Caring for Others Award goes to Julie Magill & Tom Dalley, Contribution to Youth Award goes to Kaye Hunt & Jason Riggs, Community Leadership Award goes to Frank Napolitano & Community Partner Award goes to Stratford Stem Middle School & Principal Mr. Pratt @ the chapter’s last award ids the Lifesaver Award, goes to Abigail Jones, a former Lebanon City Police Force for saving a baby. Coffee Cheesecake Cookies
These decadent cookies combine the creamy richness of cheesecake with the bold flavor of coffee, creating a perfect treat for coffee lovers and dessert enthusiasts alike.
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup instant coffee granules
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

The Nashville Chapter 1, TN-West partnered with Boy Scout Troop 75, in Hendersonville, TN for a Flag Retirement Ceremony on June 2, 2025.
There were about 30-35 in attendance for the event.
The scouts retired around 40 flags & the WoodmenLife members & others in attendance also retired their portions of flags.
The Nashville Chapter supported the Boy Scouts with a donation of $1,000.

WoodmenLife Nashville Chapter 1 donated $500 to the TN Jurisdictional Convention on April 16 & 17, 2025 for the Feed the Hungry Campaign. All the chapters in the state of TN participated in the Food Drive. The delegates from Chapter 1 are as follows from L-R.

Congratulations to our Nashville Chapter 1 for achieving the highest 5-Star Award for the year 2024. Our chapter has worked hard this year with various projects within our communities. Thanks to all our members that participated in helping our chapter achieve the 5-Star Award.

On April 1, 2025 the Nashville Chapter 1 recognized a long time Field Rep, Mgr & Part-time Rep for over 44 years, Tom Dalley. Thank you Tom for all your hard work over the years & all you have done in your years at WoodmenLife. The chapter presented Tom with a retirement card & a gift card in appreciation to his years of service our Nashville Chapter 1. Thanks Tom.
