Nashua Parent Cafe

Nashua Parent Cafe Parent Cafes are trauma informed, community-based nights of connection and education for families here in Southern NH. Join us for Parent Cafe meeting!

Hosted by ASCC/PAL/DPHCS What is a Parent Cafe?

1.) Parent Cafés are structured, small-group conversations where parents and caregivers come together in a physically and emotionally safe environment.
2.) The conversations are grounded in the Strengthening Families™ Protective Factors, a research-based framework. Those factors include: parent resilience, social connections, concrete support, know

ledge of child development, and social & emotional competence. Why It Matters

For Parents: It’s a chance to talk openly about what’s going well and what’s hard — with people who “get it.”

For Communities / Agencies: Hosting a Parent Café can be a powerful engagement tool. It helps build trust, reinforce support systems, and empower parents as leaders. For Well-being: The model supports mental health, resilience, and social connection — all of which can help prevent more serious family stress or crisis
