As part of the Christmas in July celebration, our WVHA Board Member Ryan Mccaughey and his lovely wife, Julia are sponsoring an ice cream truck again to get to know our neighbors!

Julia will also be collecting used sheets and towels to donate to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.

Please join us July 17 from 6-7pm at the Westgate Village Clubhouse/pool.

With the forecast calling for record-breaking heat, we're opening the downstairs Clubhouse function room during pool hours to help everyone stay cool.

The space is fully air-conditioned and equipped with tables and chairs, providing a comfortable place to relax, cool off, or spend time with neighbors while taking a break from the heat.

We encourage everyone to stay hydrated, take breaks from the sun, and make use of this cool indoor space during pool hours.

🌡️ Westgate Village Clubhouse Cooling Station Open During Pool Hours for Westgate Residents During the Hot Weather 🌡️

With dangerous heat expected, the WVHA will open a Cooling Station for anyone in need of relief from the high temperatures.

🗓️ Open: ONLY open during Pool hours

10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 1 through Saturday, July 4

📍 Location:
Westgate Village Clubhouse

The Cooling Station is located in the Clubhouse, downstairs room.

Available amenities include:
🪑 Chairs and tables
🚻 Restroom access

Please note: Food and other services will not be provided. The Cooling Station is intended to provide a safe, air-conditioned place for anyone who needs to escape the heat.

As temperatures rise, remember to:
✔️ Drink plenty of water.
✔️ Limit outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day.
✔️ Check on elderly neighbors, friends, and family members.
✔️ Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle.

I had an idea about updating the playground equipment, an expense that is not currently in our HOA budget. How do people feel about starting a playground fund? Anybody could contribute, anonymously if preferred, and we could display one of those thermometer posters to show our progress. Research on a new slide, jungle gym, maybe a new swingset plus installation cost has not even begun. What do you all think?

Earth Day - clean-up our Playground! We will shortly be renovating the playground equipment - so we need YOUR help to rake out the sand so our kids have a great place to play. Bring your rake to the Clubhouse on Earth Day - Wednesday the 22nd - between 3:30 and 6PM to help. Easy, and makes a big difference. See you there!!
