October is Dyslexia Awareness Month! Join us throughout the month (and after) as we learn more about dyslexia and share resources!

How many people are affected by dyslexia?
Dyslexia is the most common specific learning disability. It is estimated that many people — as many as 15-20% of the population as a whole — show some of the symptoms of dyslexia, including slow or inaccurate reading, poor spelling, poor writing, or mixing up similar words. Early diagnosis and intervention are critical to help struggling students develop foundational literacy skills.

Over the Edge Fundraiser - Only ONE WEEK away! Our team's registration time is noon, so we will probably rappel down the Brady Sullivan building between 12:30 and 2:00 pm. Please show your support: sponsor an Edger, spread the word, and/ or join us on June 24th.

The CDC of Nashua is a nonprofit, and we provide free Orton-Gillingham tutoring for students with dyslexia and training for teachers. It is a life changing experience for most, and your support can help us continue our efforts and increase our number of students being tutored and adult trainees.

For many years the students, families, trainees, and staff have taken time to write Thank You letters to the Masons and The Barker Foundation in recognition of their financial support. It is beautiful to read the kind words and appreciation for the free tutoring the students receive and how the trainees use their training to better the lives of the students they work with. Our work can be life changing! Thank you, Masons, The Barker Foundation, and everyone who has given their time and/ or resources to help the Children's Dyslexia Center of Nashua!
