We're 2 days out from the Fire Truck Pull.

And before the hype takes over, we want you to know why this event exists.

Less Leg More Heart serves individuals living with limb loss.
And when we say "serves"-we mean it in the most hands-on, tangible, life-changing way possible.

Every dollar raised on Sunday goes directly toward:
Mobility equipment: including running blades and prosthetics that insurance won't cover. The kind of gear that gets someone out of a chair and back into their life.

Adaptive fitness equipment: so amputees can get back in the gym, back on the field, back to feeling strong in their own body.

Home accessibility modifications: ramps, grab bars, bathroom renovations. The things that turn a house back into a home you can actually move through.

Care packages and holistic services: because recovery isn't just physical. It's emotional. It's mental. And nobody should have to navigate it alone.

Ongoing peer support: connecting amputees with others who get it. Who've lived it. Who can look them in the eye and say "I know exactly what you're going through."

That's what Sunday is about.
It's a festival.
It's fun.
It's loud.

But underneath all of it: it's a community showing up for people who need to know they haven't been forgotten.

When you pull that truck, you're pulling for someone's independence.
When you buy a raffle ticket, you're funding someone's mobility.
When you just show up and cheer, you're telling an entire community: WE SEE YOU.

What is there to do at the Fire Truck Pull?

A lot. Here's your breakdown:

PULL A FIRE TRUCK: Individuals and teams compete in a test of raw strength and teamwork. Think you've got what it takes? Register a team or go solo. And yes — kids can pull too. Little ones get harnessed up to pull a Power Wheels fire truck, facilitated by NH Strongmen. It's the cutest and most intense thing you'll see all day.

ALL-WHEELS CAR SHOW: Classics, customs, trucks, off-roads, and motorcycles all welcome. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just love looking at beautiful vehicles, this show is worth the trip. Awards include Best in Show, Judges' Choice, Fan Favorite, Best Classic, Best Custom Build, Best Motorcycle, and more.

FOOD & DRINK: Local food trucks and beverage vendors will be on site all afternoon. Come hungry.

VENDOR VILLAGE: Shop local businesses, connect with the community, and find something new.

KIDS ZONE: Family-friendly activities and entertainment to keep the little ones busy (and smiling) all day.

RAFFLES: Fun ways to support the cause and you might walk away with something awesome. Sign up for SMS text alerts when you arrive to get entered into surprise raffle drawings throughout the day.

This is not a "stand around and watch" event. This is a show-up-and-be-part-of-it event.

Sunday, May 31. Arms Park. 1–5 PM.

THIS SUNDAY.
The 3rd Annual Fire Truck Pull & Festival is back at Arms Park in Manchester, NH-and it's bigger than ever.

Here's what's going down:

Teams and individuals will literally pull a fire truck. Yes, a real one. It's a test of strength, teamwork, and heart — and every pull supports the amputee community right here in New Hampshire.

But it's not just the truck pull. This is a full blown festival.

We've got an All-Wheels Car Show with classics, customs, trucks, off-roads, and motorcycles. Food trucks and local vendors. A Kids Zone packed with family-friendly activities. Raffles with surprise prizes. A main stage with live awards and presentations. And an energy you genuinely have to experience to understand.

Whether you're pulling, spectating, showing off your ride, or just bringing the family for a fun afternoon — there is something for everyone.

Sunday, May 31
1:00 – 5:00 PM
Arms Park, 10 Arms St, Manchester, NH 03101
Rain date: June 14

Sometimes the strongest people are the ones smiling through the deepest pain.

When this amputee first connected with us, there was so much more beneath the surface than “I’m fine.” His family was in crisis. The weight of life, finances, mobility, and mental health was becoming unbearable.

Because someone took the time to truly listen, everything changed.

Together, we helped secure a new prosthetic leg, keep the lights on, provide school supplies for his children, support his health and fitness journey, and most importantly, remind him that he didn’t have to carry it all alone.

His words still stay with us:
“She saved my life, literally. I was going downhill so fast.”

This is why Less Leg More Heart exists.
Not just to provide resources, but to restore hope, dignity, connection, and purpose.

Behind every smile is a story.
And sometimes, being seen changes everything. 💙

If you believe in this mission, we’d love your support at our 3rd Annual Fire Truck Pull & Festival on May 31. Local friends, come experience an unforgettable day of community, strength, vehicles, raffles, food, and impact while helping amputees and families in crisis.

Not local? You can still help us continue changing lives by contributing to our fundraising efforts here:

Every share, donation, attendee, and supporter helps us remind another person that they are not alone.

A message from our founder.

Three years ago, I tried to explain to a city official why we wanted to host an event so people could pull a fire truck.

He looked at me like I'd lost my mind. Honestly, I might have.

But I couldn't shake one conversation.

A woman who'd lost her leg told me the hardest part wasn't the surgery or the pain.

It was feeling invisible.

Like the world moved on without her and nobody was coming.

That's why the Fire Truck Pull exists.

And it was never about the truck.

It was always about the rope.

What happens when a hundred strangers grab the same line and pull for someone they've never met.

When a community decides nobody gets left behind.

I've watched firefighters pull alongside amputees.

Kids cheer so loud their parents cried.

A man in a wheelchair looked at me through tears and said: "They're doing that for us?"

Yes. Every single year, more people grab the rope.

If you've never been, come.

If you've been before, bring someone new.

If you're an amputee reading this, every person who shows up May 31st is there for you.

May 31. Arms Park. Let's pull together.
