I have a course correction to announce. TLDR but for those who need to know, please read.
Ever since my mom went into the hospital last month, I have had to change many things in my life that I didn't anticipate. Caring for a chronically ill parent is time consuming and doesn't always produce the desired outcome. It's stressful and I'm not the kind of person with a caretaker personality. Don't get me wrong, I love my Mom, but I'd rather be doing business. However, I've had to change how I manage my business, and have had to adjust the business model for me in this time period of my life. It's not the first time I've had to pivot, but it's never easy.
Not to mention, when I was hacked and lost the New Hampshire Underground page, that was a huge set back in terms of helping promote my artists. New Hampshire Underground Group is still active, and I can still post from Instagram, so like relearning music, I just have to shift the way the notes are played.
To make things easier for me in this time in my life, here are the changes being made at New Hampshire Underground. Please note, this doesn't affect Terminus Underground at all.
Let me preface that New Hampshire Underground was always intended as a community building and networking hub, a coaching business, with concept driven promotional marketing support for underground musicians and artists. It was not intended to be a booking agency, and it wasn't meant to be a business administration service, or social media firm for other entertainment companies.
I am able to do many of those things because of my business acumen and education in business and the music industry. When we began to develop the dream, the main focus was to support the artists however they needed, but then I began to bleed out. I was supporting everyone else but not myself, and not in the ways I wanted to.
I teach the business of music, art, entertainment, and publishing for those who are new to the industry or those who have some knowledge but need professional help to execute their goals.
