Today is the Second Sunday of Matthew, and the Gospel reading where we learn about Jesus calling His disciples to follow Him. What does it mean to be fishers of men? And how can we become fishers of souls? Also, can the Church exist without the laity?

Congratulations to our graduates! We were pleased to recognize our high school graduates on Sunday. We wish every blessing from our Lord upon them as they embark upon a new chapter of their lives. Many thanks to our presenters from various organizations who presented scholarships to these deserving young people. God bless their steps and prepare their way!

Our St. Philip Community is still collecting items to benefit local middle school aged children and their families in need.

Items we are collecting include cleaning products & hygiene products.
Drop off at the Church through June 7th.

Come to Church! The Saturday of Souls Divine Liturgy begins at 9am.

The Saturday of Souls is a day for remembering all those souls who have departed earth. According to Orthodox beliefs, a person does not cease to exist. Rather, they exist as a soul in the spiritual realm when they stop living in their physical bodies here on earth.
