Reminder🚘: the Callicoon, NY-Damascus, PA Bridge will close around 6 a.m. Tuesday for up to 48 hours for concrete pouring, requiring motorist detours got interstate crossings to the Kellams, NY-Stalker, PA Bridge or the Cochecton, NY-Damascus, PA Bridge. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic may continue.🚶‍♀️‍➡️🚴‍♂️

The Upper Delaware Council is tremendously grateful to Assembly Member Paula Elaine Kay for securing $100,000 for the UDC in the 2027 New York State budget, fulfilling her personal pledge and the state's long-awaited operational fiscal share outlined in the 1986 Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River Management Plan. We're just about two weeks away from the free Citizens Preparedness Corps training session that the UDC will host on Monday, June 8, at 2 p.m. at the air conditioned Tusten Town Hall Community Room in Narrowsburg. Registration is required at www.prepare.ny.gov to save a spot and a backpack full of emergency supplies to take home. Investing 90 minutes of your time could help save your life and your loved ones.

This Sunday, May 24, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) will host a Fish for Free day to allow anyone (resident or non-resident) to legally fish on all Pennsylvania waterways. No license is required, but all other fishing regulations still apply. This is the first of two dates set by the PFBC to enhance fishing opportunities. The next day is Independence Day, Saturday, July 4.
