As a reminder, the Narragansett Little League will be holding its General Membership Meeting at the Narragansett Community Center (https://www.narragansettri.gov/336/Community-Center)on October 15, 2026 at 7PM.
This is our annual meeting to present and discuss the following:
• Status of Narragansett Little League and a summary of our 2026 season financial condition of Narragansett Little League.
• Divisional update including the numbers of participants in each division.
• Review the NLL Constitution and vote on proposed minor adjustments.
• Meeting dates for Board of Directors.
• Attendance and responsibilities for Board of Directors.
• Vote to determine the size of the 2026-2027 Board of Directors.
• Review the nominations and vote to elect the new Board of Directors.
To qualify to vote as a member in good standing the individual must have an approved background check and required Abuse Awareness Training. Individuals must also have provided at least three volunteer hours to Narragansett Little League.
Anyone who qualifies and would like to be considered for the Narragansett Little League 2026-2027 Board of Directors notify the Narragansett Little League by October 7, 2026 by filling out the Volunteer Request Form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdIaWjZtS23gos5NnBGkUfLWjRZP04nx_HzFtY9pOhG1VOwAQ/viewform?usp=publish-editor). This nomination must include at least three roles / positions that the individual is interested in performing. Once elected the Board member will be required to hold at least one role and there is no guarantee elected members will get one of their top three choices.
