💙 2025 DUI Honor Patrols: By the Numbers (So Far) 💙

We’re still crunching the final data, but here’s what we know:
🚓 Nearly 50 Honor Patrols were conducted statewide
🚨 Approximately 1 in 4 patrols resulted in a DUI arrest

Honor Patrols are additional DUI enforcement patrols coordinated by MADD Rhode Island during the high-risk holiday period of December 24–31. Conducted by local and state police, these patrols honor a victim or survivor of impaired driving—keeping their story at the forefront while working to prevent future tragedies.

Thank you to Rhode Island Department of Transportation for funding these lifesaving patrols, to Rhode Island law enforcement for carrying them out, and most importantly to the victims and survivors who allowed us to honor themselves or their loved ones through this meaningful initiative.

We are proud to spotlight Officer Anthony St. Laurent of the East Greenwich Police Department as today's Holiday Hero!

“I have a passion for traffic safety and I love this part of the job because every night I have the opportunity to go out and take an impaired driver off the road," said Officer St. Laurent. "DUI enforcement is how I can best serve East Greenwich and contribute to the work that my colleagues in our department do every day.”

Thank you, Officer St. Laurent, for your hard work and dedication!
