🍝 FCDC is turning 30, and you’re invited! 🍝

For 30 years, the Family Christian Development Center has been serving families right here in Nappanee. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than sharing a meal with the community that has helped make it all possible!

Join us for our 30th Birthday Party & FREE Spaghetti Dinner!

A quick reminder for our FCDC community: We are closed today, Monday, October 12, in observance of Columbus Day.

We look forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday, October 13, during our regular business hours! Our Food Pantry and Clothing Closet will be open from 1–4 PM.

🏓 Grab a partner and spend your a morning on the court!

The FCDC Pickleball Tournament is Saturday, October 31 at Family Christian Development Center in Nappanee. Doors open at 9 AM, games start at 10, and it’s a double-elimination bracket, so every team gets at least two games.

💵 $15 per person ($30 per team)
🏆 Gift card prizes for the top 3 teams
🍔 Concessions all day

Every dollar from registration and concessions goes straight back into FCDC’s work in our community. 💛

⚠️ We’re capped at 30 teams, and registration closes Monday, Oct. 26 at 11:59 PM. Your spot is confirmed once payment is in.

💙 This Thankful Thursday, we’re grateful for Lake City Bank and their support of FCDC and our mission!

Their team stopped by this week with a check to support our food pantry and the timing couldn’t have been better. In September, we served 23 new families and the need continues to grow.

Thank you, Lake City Bank, for helping us keep our shelves stocked and care for our neighbors. Your generosity helps us put “Compassion in Action” every day! 💙

FCDC is looking for 100 NEW monthly donors who will commit to giving $20 per month.

Our goal is to reach all 100 new partners by November 13th.

When 100 people give $20 each month, together they provide:

✨ $24,000 every year

These dependable monthly donations will help FCDC cover regular operating expenses and continue providing food, clothing, diapers, medical assistance and other essential services to families throughout our community.

🛒✨ WISHLIST WEDNESDAY ✨🛒

Because of YOU, our food pantry and clothing closet are making a real difference! 💛

So far in September, we have welcomed 23 new families and served a total of 939 people through our food pantry and clothing closet.

As the need continues to grow, our shelves need some restocking. Here's what we're low on right now:

🍜 Pantry Items

Ramen noodles (beef & chicken)
Hamburger Helper
Canned meals (SpaghettiO's, etc)
Jelly
Baking items (flour, sugar, etc.)
Biscuit mix
Ketchup, mustard & mayonnaise
Crackers
Cereal

🧴 Personal Care Items

Men's deodorant
Tampons & pads
Toothpaste
Floss or floss picks
Band-Aids
Men's & women's shampoo, conditioner & body wash

Every item helps a family in our community. 💕

Donations can be dropped off at 107 E. Marion Street, Mon-Thur, 8:30am-4:00pm.
