VRCP is dedicated to improving the lives of citizens of Louisiana through educational tutoring, juvenile court referrals, life and parenting training workshops, drug couns

Funding for programs offered at VRCP are made possible through the support of generous corporate and philanthropic individuals such as you. In order for VRCP to be of greater service to the community, we need the help of local businesses, merchants and individuals. Monetary contributions are needed and will be used to offset program expenses as allowed under the non-profit laws of our great state of Louisiana.

Services




On-Line Services:

Apply for governmental benefits, such as, food stamps, unemployment, and other on-line benefits.



Educational Training:

Offering tutoring in reading, writing, study skills, homework and math, test prep and more for all ages.



Drug Counseling:

Receive referral from court, or other agency engage in customized program which includes professional counseling and case management, track progress and hours, forward timesheet to referring agency.



Juvenile Court Referrals:

Receive referral from court or school counselor, engage in customized program as outlined by a professional case management counselor track progress and hours, forward timesheet to referring agency.



Life & Parenting Classes:

Offering workshops, seminars and training to individuals or groups.



HIV/AIDS:

Prevention training counseling, and Rapid Testing conducted by certified staff.



Job Search Readiness:

Assist individuals to complete applications, create resumes, interview prepping, tips how to dress, coaching for success.



Senior Advocacy:

Assist to review paperwork.



Transportation:

Provide a ride for seniors to doctors appointments or the pharmacy. Provide employed individual a ride to or from work.

S.I.H.L.E. (pronounced “C-Lay”) is a peer lead, social skills training intervention, aimed at African American teenage females, ages 14-18. SIHLE emphasis on ethnic and gender pride, and enhances awareness of HIV risk reduction strategies our sessions consist of four 3–hour sessions delivered by two peer facilitators (ages 18-21) and one adult facilitator. Session are designed for 10-12 girls
